Stanton or Stan as I knew him was a lifelong friend. We grew up on Parkside street in Detroit and attended elementary school together. We played baseball in the street and basketball at the Moore's home and football in the once empty lot in front of U of D off 6 mile. He was a dear friend and after I left for the Service he looked after my parents (and the neighborhood). I will miss him but know he is in a much better place now. I wish to share my condolences with Stan's family from myself, Clayton Fox and my wife Gwen Fox.

We have known the family since 1959. We played together as children and continued our relationship as adults.
