Great Cousin Janet and my mother, Alice, had so much in common. They laughed like there was no tomorrow, talked until the wee hours of the morning, and loved each other like sisters, unconditionally.
Janet had a way of making people feel special, loved, heard, and understood. And above all the world’s superficial treasures, she knew that her love, patience, kindness, forgiving heart, and generous spirit are what’s valued the most when it’s all said and done.
Janet was also an amazing cook, and we had the BEST Thanksgiving feasts and dinner tables in Detroit, MI, that’s On God, as the young folks say!!
