Rev. Mebane officiated my wedding in 2009 during his leadership at Greater St John. I will always remember his kind and gentle spirit and how he lived a life for our God. May he rest eternally in peace. In deepest sympathy to the Mebane family.
Reverend Dr Mebane was a blessing to the entire Christian community here in the metropolitan Detroit area. Reverend faithfully and diligently served the Tennessee School of Religion teaching the principles and precepts of Jesus Christ, he taught several ministers, leaders, and deacons and persons who went on to become pastors, and leaders in their local churches. He was a viable, valiant servant in the Lord's army and his ministry and friendship will be sorely missed.
