As I’m preparing myself for your memorial, I can’t help but think about your distinctive laugh. I could pinpoint it out of a crowd full of people. The love, kindness, and strength my Aunt Carol exuded will forever stick with me. It caught me by surprise and is weighing because I remember seeing you earlier in the year still pushing through with your big bright smile. I love you auntie.

I cant lie, This one is a tough one because my Aunty was one of THE TOUGHEST. She taught me how to freaking fight. How to fight for myself, how to fight for my family and how to fight for what is right. He love and impact on my life is forever and high. I think this moment is still surreal but I find peace knowing you are no longer suffering because you did more than you share of that in your physical experience here on earth. I find peace knowing you are onto your spiritual eternal journey finally your worth. I cant thank you enough for all that you given me and others but I for sure will be trying to continue to make you proud with what you have given me. I love you Aunty and I will see you again in Heaven.
Rest in Heaven Carol.. From a child my Entire Detroit Family Have always been in Heart and thoughts regardless of time and Distance. My greatest Memories growing up was the many times I spent on Burnside Hawthorne and Greely.. Today I am with You as you say Goodbye and See You later to My Cousin Carol Ann Parks.. This is a tough one for me, As long as I can remember I have been spending a week with my family in GA. Now as adults we all gather somewhere as a family once a year just as we were taught…the tradition continues. Carol was always there with that smile and gentle voice. For me she had one of those laid back personalities that put you at ease. I never got to see the fiery side of Carol. All Though she is no longer with us she will always be a part of us, no matter where or how many of us gather. May you rest in peace Cuzzo
It was a pleasure to be around Carol I had a chance to spent time with her at the wine festival and we had a ball !what a beautiful soul.
My heart goes out to Frances, Isaiah and the entire Parks family. From the moment I met Aunty Carol I adored her. Her smile, warmth and love she showed her family anchored my own love for her. My husband Isaiah would delight in telling Aunty Carol stories from the day I met him, the resounding theme being she was as solid as they come. Then I met you and every story came alive. I’ll miss coming to family events and seeing your smile, reminiscing on how your aura reminded me of my Nana, and that Everything Soup (life changing). You are an amazing woman who led a remarkable life, imprinting your love and grace on your entire family. Aunty Carol, you are truly missed!
