Shyla Sweetheart,
I will always remember your kind spirit and your loving smile that radiated the room when you entered. Your will forever be in my heart.
Love, Aunt Dawn
Little cuz I will definitely miss the random calls to check in. Anyone who knew you knew you had a heart of gold. Whether you had it to give or not you always tried to show up for anyone and everybody. You truly understood and loved out the meaning out what family really meant. Despite the challenging seasons you continued to push through even when you didn’t feel like it. You are finally able to get your rest! I know you have loved ones waiting at the pearly gates to welcome you. Love you always!

Unjanai, I first met you in Middle School at Pierce in Redford. You were the silliest girl I ever met. You always had the biggest smile on your face ready to tell a joke and laugh. You were so nice and had a good heart to everyone you were around. After graduating High School we kept in touch as adults and I would always cook for you and your babies. You would always tell me im going to stop being so last minute ordering food but i didnt care I enjoyed cooking for you and your babies even if it was a last minute ask. We would sit and talk about everything and you were still in good spirits and had a positive mindset no matter what you were going through behind closed doors. Im so proud of you and how you handled your battle. I'll never forget how you checked on me after losing my Mom in 2025. I will always remember you and your infectious laugh, im so sad to lose a friend and such a beautiful soul gone to soon. Im sending love to the Thomas family and even more love to your babies who you loved so dearly. I'll never forget you friend. -Chef Art
