My dear friend Barbara,
We met decades ago working the night shift at United Airlines. I have so many fond memories. The meals you, Stephanie, Kim and I shared at Big Fish in Dearborn and our crazy adventure to Morocco, North Africa.
My family always looked forward to your brown sugar pound cake and German chocolate cake that you'd make for us at Christmas. You'd make Miya her own because of her nut allergy and Troy his own just because you thought he was special.
I loved your stories about your trips to Albuquerque and how you enjoyed visiting your friends there.
After you disappeared, I looked for you. I'm so sorry I found you gone.... without being able to say goodbye.
You are loved and important to me and I sure to many others.
I will miss you. I love you.
