Met Chef Bernard first in 2007 at MGM Grand Detroit. After I left there managed to convince him to help me in Chicago at Rivers Casino and without hesitation, he made the move. I think what I'll most miss about Bernard will be his genuine, professional, fun loving character. We've been in contact over the last 13 years frequently and have had many opportunities with "Jack". Sincere condolences to Ina and his entire family, this one hit me hard and he will truly be missed. RIP Big Dog.

I met Bernard when I transferred to The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff during the Fall 1987 term. We became fast friends, and he became my frat brother in 1990. He will truly be missed!
