When I was little, I always remembered going next door to see San when we lived next door to each other on Garland and grandma Bessie would take us out to her garden in the backyard. She had a grapevine, collard greens, pole beans and other vegetables. I also remembered the many times she kept us out of trouble. I'm sure I got my love of plants and gardening from her! It's not good bye it's so long for now.
