To Patience, Deidre, Michelle & Family,
Your mom will always be in your heart. I can't say that I know how you feel because I don't, but........I can tell you how I felt when I lost my mother. I felt like a part of my life was gone. I found comfort in a poem I wrote. I would like to share it with you, because I believe when you look in the mirror you will see what I saw as I wrote it.
SOMETIMES WHEN I LOOK IN THE MIRROR
Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I see my mother looking back at me.
Will she be please of who I have become in Society.
Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I see my mother's thin hair, her
forehead and her features in me.
Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I see my mother's strength, faith, love and
determination she put inside of me.
Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I understand that I am who I am and my
. mother's life is a part of me. The desire to do all that is within me.
She was loved by many because of her personality. She reached out to all her
friends and family.
When I look in the mirror, I believe I see, My mother staring back at me. Saying, . "Well-done! My daughter you are a lot like me".
