Charlotte was one of my all time favorite residents of Memory Lane. In the year that I worked there, she never failed to put a smile on my face or give a hug where it was needed. When Charlotte had a hard time sleeping at night, she would roll over to one side of the bed and wait for me to lay down with her. I would rub her hair until she fell back asleep and it was almost always a successful tactic. Although she couldn’t say much, she could sing and dance to Motown like no one I’ve ever met before. She is an inspiration and one of the most loving people I’ve ever had the honor of knowing and I am thankful for the time I was given with her. I’m praying for Carolyn and family during this hard time and just know you’re not alone ❤️
