It's hard to put this one into words. I knew Danny since he was a toddler. He and the Williams family lived next door, when we were the only Black family on the block. He and my son played together. He was sometimes over at our house more than he was at home. He called me "Pops" and I called him "Son". He was still asking for me to make him some lasagna.
I will truly miss him. To Donna, Dan, Gerald, Charlene and the rest of the family, my prayers are with you during this trying time. We have his smile, his laughter, his life to remember. KEEP HIS MEMORY ALIVE.
