I remember him always looking on the bright side of things. When I was little, somebody (Keisha 😅) got me toothpaste for Christmas and I was upset by it, because I was just a kid. DT pulled me to the side and talked to me about how my “gift” would save the household a little money that could be spent on something I actually wanted, like snacks. At 5yo, I didn’t know what the heck he was talking about BUT what stuck with me is how he was always able to have a positive outlook on even the oddest of things.
