It was always a joy to go over and visit Cshawn, Ms. Price and the family. Almost 19 years ago Ms. Price saw my husband and I taking wedding photos around the city. She greeted us and chatted with my mom. I noticed she stayed for a while, not realizing her reason..... she proceeded to give our limo a police escort through the city. With that beautiful bright smile leading the way. She was always a class act in my eyes! Rest In Peace Ms. Price, you will truly be missed.

We extend our heart-felt condolences to you. We are praying for your strength as you face the final hours of celebrating the legacy of your dear mother and the great work she did for the City of River Rouge and beyond.
In the spring of 2016, we honored the Chief as a trailblazer, being the first female Chief of Police in the Downriver community. It was also the year I became the first female pastor in 99 years of St. John’s history.
We at St. John AME Church will always hold Chief Price’s memory in high esteem. We will continue to keep you lifted in prayer throughout the coming days and months.
