I worked with Delores on some management issues at IRS perhaps 15 years ago. I found her to be a very principled woman with a great sense of humor. I was very honored to work with such a fine person. She has made her mark and she will be dearly missed.
Delores and I started working at IRS in 1972,she was my best friend. We shared some good times traveling playing softball and just hanging out together. I'm going to miss her terribly but I know she's not suffering any longer. RIH my friend
I have known Delores for so long, she was like family. I am sad to know she's gone but understand it was God's will, she had suffered enough. Love Til we meet Again. Rebecca

I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had the privilege of working with Mrs. Delores McGhee starting in 2008. She was one of my favorite managers and best workers. She possessed a strong work ethic and a wonderful sense of humor. Without her leadership and her strong Detroit team our major IT project would not have been successful. She loved her family and she loved her church. After her retirement we stayed in touch sharing anecdotes about the IRS, our families and our health issues. I will attach a photo from the last time (May 2015) she rode her Harley to DC. It seems like yesterday we enjoyed the weather and a lovely lunch outdoors at Reston Towne Center and catching up. God bless my precious friend Delores! My deepest sympathies go out to her family and her friends. Maude Lee
