MS. DENISE JACKSON-BAILEY

She was so much a part of who I was and who I came to be. She has always been my big sister. She always had great words of wisdom to give me. She never gave up on me. She talked about holding the family together. She loved to cook and share recipes from our grandmother on every thing except dinner rolls. We just could not get it right. You best believe I will keep trying then pass it on to my children and grandchildren. I will miss our weekly talks and texts. I love you like only a baby brother could. Bye bye Necie. She was born May 10, 1956, she was only called affectionately "Peaches" by her grandfather, she would hover over her grandmother trying to learn how to cook, she was smart, she loved to cook for her friends, she at times was the annoying little sister, other times she was the mother trying to tell me to stop. She was tuff on the outside but soft and sensitive on the inside.We argued, were best friends, enemies, traveled and hung out together, she was far more mature than me and let me know it. Life life's and we lost touch. Denise(Niecy) was my niece, a year younger than I. When I think of her, I will remember the way we were no matter what and smile. So, here's to you Niecy, flying free and clear and if I never said it out loud, thanks for being a pain in my *** as kids and adults. I love you always, Rest well kiddo.
