MRS. DORIS GREER

Doris and I grew up in the Old Jonesboro (Bessemer), Al community. We attended Sunday School together, junior high school together and high school also. She was a happy person and serious about her next move. The move was to Detroit, where her career began, marriage and family began and ended. We kept in touch by mail, phone, and visits. Knowing she is no longer with us leaves a void felt in the wind. Praying for her family that God keep you strong during this most difficult time. R.I.P. my FRIEND!!

Hello Tisha and Doris family she talked about ALL THE TIME! 🥰 I met Doris from my Aunt Cathleen Clark RIP🕊️️💕I used to do her hair at several salons for years then I moved my “salon” to
“The Plumbrooke Basement” (as my clients named it.)
Everyone knew each other from DSS,MESC and other work places. All the ladies LOVED Doris. She was so funny. Such a sweet spirit too.
After retiring, she and my Aunt Cat called each other daily to check on one another. True friendship!
I last say Doris at my Aunts repast. It was so good to see her! May she rest peacefully ~ 💙💜❤️
