Dorothy Jean was affectionately known as Dot to her family. She touched the lives of many and had a heart full of love for all who came in contact with her. Dot will truly be missed. Prayers of strength and comfort in the coming days for her family; children, grandchildren and great-grands. I look forward to the day when we will meet again. Rest peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father!❤️🙏🏽
Ms Dorothy Jean Ayers my aunt was more than just my Aunt Dot, she was my big sister, my friend and my protector. She always was eager to lend a helping hand even though her doing so sometimes just got in the way Lol.
I will always cherish the times we spent together her passing is bitter sweet, bitter because I miss her presence and sweet because I know she's in Glory with our Heavenly Father. I excitedly look forward to the Greatest Family Reunion ever when we'll be together again in Glory with our Heavenly Father , i Love you Dot (Bobbie)
To "Dot" that is the name I loved and called her by. When I began to date Fred, the first person he wanted to meet was his aunt "Dot". We went over her house and I fell in love with her. Dot was one of those people who I could share and go deep with. She became a very close friend to me. Our friendship has remained until the day Dot left this earth. One of her favorite songs that she would sing at church was "Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus"
Truly Dot has done just that. Her eye are now fully fixed on the savior and the things of earth are strangely dim. I miss you my friend.

My heart goes out to the family of Ms Dorothy Jean Ayers, my aunt who has been a friend, mentor, fellow believer in Christ and a protector. She taught me how to drive and how to socialize with other people. She continuously believed in me as a person. We were members together at the first church I served, Oakdale Tabernacle. I was so new and she was so willing to follow. I always felt protected, loved and supported around her. We were family and more importantly friends. My life is better because of Dorothy Jean Ayers. I thanks God for her life and our great memories together.
