My sincere condolences and prayers for all our family💖Doug you will be greatly missed. I can still hear you say, “Mart, you want to go with me to Ohio?” My answer would always be yes! We had some great adventures. But this one is a ride you have to take by yourself though God will be with you all the way❣️️ Love you my brother, I’ll see you to the end.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

We were remembering a compassionate, understanding and generous gentleman today. We thought of how gladly he shared his gifts granted by God with family, friends and even strangers. He endured hardship like a valiant soldier, leaving a grand legacy for those who loved and cherished him.
To the family of a good man, we pray for your strength and comfort.

Cousin Hank, know that my family and are lifting you in prayer on the passing of Cousin Doug, your brother. We know that God will give you peace and comfort for he knows the kindness that Cousin Doug gave to others. Remember the words of II Corinthian 1:3, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort."

When pondering the words to express our feelings during this time of loss, we thought to look up the word "FRIEND". Lo and behold, your picture was there.

Expressing the loss of a very dear and loyal friend is not difficult. You were the shining example of a lifelong true friend. One who was always there in happy times and sad. You were a person who never hesitated to defend your friends or their integrity. A great traveling buddy who was ready to "hit the road", no matter the destination. A true Christian. You loved the Lord and was never ashamed of your beliefs. We are missing you, already, but believe there is another building not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

Rest dear friend, because God's got you!
