I will miss my auntie dearly and all our long talks cause if you knew her y’all know she loved that phone. Rest know until we meet again. Love ya auntie
I think I was one of Gloria's oldest friends. She told people that in first grade I was crying and she said, "Your mama left you, mine left me too." So we stuck together from that day on" Our senior year, Gloria was Lady Macbeth in the school play.
I was the director(no acting talent);Gloria did an outstanding job. She received accolades from everyone. My family had a reunion in Kansas City. Gloria came to help me along with one of my college friends because they both knew my family and loved my father. She was a true friend to me and I shall miss her dearly.

Love you much AUNTIE GLO MY YOUR LITE SHINE FOR EVER

My memories of Gloria Jean are of our Eliza Miller High School days in the graduating Class of 1965! Although we shared the same name of "Gloria Jean," we had different talents -- Gloria was a majorette and a dramatic dancer! Now that our EMHS Class of 1965 Reunions have ended, I look forward to seeing her again in "Our Heavenly Reunion!" May God comfort her family and give them peace.
With Our Deepest Sympathy,
James and Gloria Jean Vasser Pickett
