Birth date: Feb 23, 1943 Death date: Dec 16, 2021
We met Henry, affectionately called Wallace, when we were young. As children meeting new relatives our age was rare and full of hesitation. He was our first oldest cousin on our mother’s side. My mom and his mom were sisters. When we met Wallace, he flashed that heavenly smile on us, we knew immediately, yep he’s one of us! He will always be remember as our dear cousin, Henry Wallace, from Michigan. Take your rest cousin as you smile with the Angels in Heaven. Condolences to the entire Buycks family!❤️ Sincerely Diane Turner Harris and Willie Turner from Illinois
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away."

As a young girl, I watched Wallace march to his own conscience and not according to what others say he should do. I watched him stand tall, strong, beautiful, and unapologetically, enthusiastically exhibit his Black pride. He taught me so much without saying a word.
I will miss him and his warm smile greeting me each time we met. You are gone, but never forgotten. Keep drumming!
Rest in Peace,
Kimberly and Billy
It saddens me to hear of the passing of my dear uncle Wallace. Your honest/direct words and attitude will always be remembered and cherished. May you rest in peace and know that you will be missed, but never forgotten. Love Michelle & Langston
