Sending love and comfort to the family of my friend John. You all don't know me, but I waitressed at Swansons Restaurant for years, then at Dix Coney Island for 20 years. John was a customer that I was always happy to see. Such a kind,and friendly man. I never heard a complaint from him. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone in all those years.
I lost track of him in 2007 when I left the Coney. Someone from the Coney called me last night to give this sad news. Just wanted to express my sympathies to his family...
