Larry Winslow
I knew Kelly from his time at Ferris State as football player. I often sat right by his family at games and we enjoyed many pleasant conversations. He was a pleasant, respectful, young man away from the field and a fierce competitor on the field. He was respected and loved by his teammates, coaches, and the fans. Personal statistics and accolades meant little to him. All he wanted to do was help the team earn a win. Everything he achieved was done through dedication, perseverance, and plain old- fashioned hard work. I knew those traits would lead him to be successful once his days playing football were over. My wife Jennifer joins me in extending our deepest sympathies to all of his family, friends, and teammates. All of Bulldog Nation mourns with you.
