I have know the Shannon Family since elementary school. I knew Luther through his sister Tonora. I love being included in the Shannon Family activities just like the adopted sister. Luther was the big brother to everyone and will be missed. His smile was the best and I will miss seeing that smile. I loved the way that he would not hesitate to go out and eat, talk and spend time with the family.
Luther you did your job so now take your rest. I will continue to be a part of the Shannon Family that added extra sister.

I met Luther when he came to visit his sister (Tonora) in Las Vegas. From that very first meeting, he made you feel like family! Luther definitely had a presence and he was an avid conversationalist. He treated everyone as life-long acquaintances. No one was a stranger! He was one of a kind.
I appreciate meeting him and the short time we all spent together. Thank you for bringing a much-needed slice of Detroit to a boring Las Vegas.
God bless your soul, Luther. Rest in eternal peace and power.
