MR. MELVIN LAMAR DEMINGS's Obituary
Melvin L Demings was born on April 26, 1943, to Frederick Demings and Mabel Smith Demings in River Rouge, Michigan. He graduated from River Rouge High School in 1961. He served in the US Air Force. He retired from General Motors.
Melvin is preceded in life by his mother, father, and older brother Fred Demmings III. He is survived by a host of family and friends. His siblings Geraldine Fullwood, Gerald Demings, and Barry Demings. His daughter Lynn Stevens, grandsons Ernest Stevens V and Byron Matthew Stevens and great-grandchildren Jaydin Rachel, Sawyer Matthew, and Peyton Dezerae. And his nieces and nephews Barry Demings Jr., Charmonuque Demings, Lakesha Demings, Baron Armon Demings, Bijon Yves Demings, Fredericka Demmings, Frederick Demmings, Vallory Ginn, Natalie Williams, Monica Wentworth, and many more.
