MR. ROBERT PINKINS

My father, Robert Pinkins, was a person who believed that family members should know each other. He and his brothers & sisters started the Pinkins Family Reunion which will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary next year in 2020. My father showed his love of family by almost never missing a Family Reunion. He traveled on the road each year to city after city, to one family event or another, to celebrate and fellowship with family members. Everyone in the family knew him, respected him, and loved him, affectionately calling him “Uncle Robert”. He was a polite and quiet man with lots of wisdom and a bright smile. He loved to laugh and sit around talking about past times. I will remember him for his gentle soul, kind spirit, teaching fatherly ways, and most of all, his love.
