Robert was my supervisor where we worked. I loved Robert so much. Robert always asked about my bride who is terminally ill, and Robert enhanced my life everyday I was with him at work ! You will be missed my Friend ! 💙💛

To the Family of Robert Earl Wright,
To the family of Robert E. Wright, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Robert and I attending Texas College together and we were roommates and fraternity brothers. We pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; in fall of 1982 with four other guys. Robert was most level headed one in the group and he made our time pledging together very special. He was a little older than everyone else on the our pledge line because he had spent some time in the military before coming to Texas College in Tyler, TX. Robert was our leader and inspiration, he made things happen.
There was a time in college, I was struggling while in ROTC to master the art of military drill and ceremony command instructions. I was informed by the ROTC Instructors that if I didn’t make any progress in the next 30 days, I could lose my scholarship and probably wouldn’t have finished College. Robert saw that I was struggling and he practiced with me and make sure that I was able to master all the requirements in drill and ceremony. His help was one of the reasons, I was able to remain in ROTC, graduate from college then spend 30 years in the military. He was my life line!
When we graduate from college, we went our own ways and I never had the opportunity to meet him again in person. Some years ago, some college friends of our told me that Robert was living in Atlanta, GA. I reached out to him but was unable to reconnect as friends and fraternity brothers. Robert was a great friend, I love him and I will miss him dearly.
Our Lord and Savior has him now and he is in a much better place. I know our other pledge line brothers would like to pay their respects to the family Robert Earl Wright. So from Keith Ervin, James Holmes, Kerry Jones, Reginald Farmer and Richard Kemp, we all loved Robert and we will sincerely miss him.
Phi Nu Pi!
Rest in Peace!
