MR. RONNIE LEE HOLLOMAN's Obituary
Ronnie Lee Holloman, March 22, 1951 – April 17, 2026
Born March 22, 1951, in Smithfield, Virginia, Ronnie was the son of Lee and Cora Holloman. After attending Maryland public schools, he moved to Detroit in 1968. In 1975, he joined the United States Air Force in Lackland, Texas, and later studied at Shaw College at Detroit. He became the father of three children and, in 1995, met Carolyn, whom he married in 2019. His long career as a foreman at Dana Companies spanned 30 years.
Ronnie was a man of faith and a member of Second Ebenezer Church. He carried himself with a quiet strength that everyone around him could feel. He was opinionated, but never raised his voice or lost his temper. He always kept his word and was the first to offer help to others, even when he needed help himself. Lady Luck smiled on him often, particularly at the lottery counter, and he loved cheering on his Detroit Lions.
Ronnie passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Cora Holloman; his sister, Teresa Holloman; and his brother, Willard Clement.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Holloman; three children, Ronnie Jr., Jonathan, and Tiffany Holloman; three step-children, Esham, James, and Crystal Smith; and four grandchildren, Darielle Williams and Jazzmyn, Amiyani, and Aysha Holloman.
He also leaves behind his siblings Brandie Holloman, Linda Scott, Youllette Walls, Detra Hansom, Cynthia Griffin, and Teneia, Martin, Morlan, and Lori Clement; nieces Lorrie Johnson and Nikisha Cobb; nephews Travis Brown, Michael Williams, and Donyel Bright; great-nephew Todd Cobb; great-niece Nyla Cobb; and many cousins and friends.
His kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who loved him.
