MR. RUFUS D. CARTER

I went to the cvs store on joy rd and beech daly. Still the friendly man at the cash register was still missing. I haven't seen him in few month. As I was about to check out, I finally asked: "Where is the friendly man with the loud voice". That's when I received the sad news. I was told his name is Mr carter. He used to lift my spirits every time I was greeted by him. I am very sad and heart broken by his lost. I will miss his great customer service and jokes. Now he can make the angels laugh in heaven

I was sad to hear about Mr. Carter. He was a total blessing to everyone that walked through the door of CVS! He was a special gift to all. God tell us to plant a seed and Mr . Carter did it well! Thank you Mr. Carter for all your word of wisdom.God has a special Angel!

I went today to get my script refilled, I was not greeted with the jovial greeting...I looked around , thinking " this must be his off day." I go to the pharmacy to get my script..there is a picture of my dear, positive friend, we ALL called "Carter" the paper said he was deceased, how could this be true? the man of so much life, when I came in CVS with so much stress, depress, & down. He ALWAYS brought happiness & life. I am so hurt, & in disbelief that the SUN of CVS is gone. A very respectful & decent human being is gone...I will believe GOD needed more ANGELS to help HIM in these trying times. May the Almighty Father cover,carry,&covet his wife & family that he talked about often. R.I.H Carter...We will truly miss you & that hefty & heartfelt greeting!!!

Very sad news, Mr. Carter was certainly an original! Always a smile on his face and a happy greeting to everyone that walked in the CVS. He will truly be missed! Hope that all the shared messages from "strangers" will help his family get through this very difficult time.

I, as many others, knew him from our weekly trips to CVS. What I blessing he was to so many customers all these years. I’m blessed to have received his kindness and love of life and of others. What an inspiration of true human kindness I learned from this man! Prayers to his friends and family.

I am sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Carter. My last visit and last encounter was that week of his untimely passing. Mr. Carter certainly was a beacon of light. The most pleasant cashier I have ever known. My condolences to the family. He will be sorely missed. God be with you all during this time.
