Elder Sam Knolton, better known as uncle Sam to me. Uncle Sam was a Godly man, always, ready to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, through the word of God but also with the Love that he had for everyone, He was a man that Loved God and his entire family unconditionally . I have so many good memories of my beautiful uncle how he Loved me so, I remember a particular story he shared with me, that when I was just a toddler how he and two of his brothers uncle Moses and uncle Rudolph would toss me out of a second floor window for the one on the ground to catch me while I'd be just laughing and enjoying it, but my most beautiful memory was the times I'd call him to ask him to explain a passage in the word of God how he would break it down where even a child would understand, the time we would pray together over the phone, and before he'd hang up he say " I LOVE you kid " and yes I know he Loved me unconditionally how he Loved his sister my mother Curlie ( sweetie ) that when ever she or I would call upon him he never let her down he was always there regardless as to what she wanted. Elder Sam Knolton will truly be missed but never for gotten, I'm so glad his legacy will live on through his son, Elder Sam jr. I pray Elder and I will continue to have that relationship uncle Sam and I had. For how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things, for the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and the Lord is surely ordering my cousin. Uncle Sam your work is done, now it is time for sweet rest in Jesus Christ. For we know that if our earthly house this tabernacle were dissolved we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Uncle receive your mansion.
