The block will truly miss you! Tobyn was the perfect example of a good neighbor. Peace and Blessing to the family. Sending prayers of comfort from Electric Street. Lord lift us up during this difficult time.
I will always remember serving as Tobyn and Tabni's babysitter, the summers of 1970 and 1971. Tobyn's parents, Leonard and Betty were so kind as to hire me as their babysitter for those summers, thus I was able to earn back-to-school money. The following summers I worked for Household Finance.
I remember Tobyn being a kind and polite child as was his sister.
I am so thankful that he walked up to me at the "River Rouge All-City Reunion 2024" this past summer and said, "I bet you don't remember me." He and I sat and talked and it was a blessing to be able to sit and chat with him after all these decades and discover that he was married with a lovely wife and family.
My heartfelt condolences to his mother, Betty, and his sister, Tabni; as well as his numerous relatives, former colleagues at the fire station, and friends.
Rest in God's loving presence Tobyn Woods.
