I never thought when I drove to Bastrop, La on Christmas Morning 2019 that it would be the last time I would be in Service with you and Lady Gaines or the last time I would hear you Preach. A perfect example of Servanthood. We, the Bookers and Williams Salute you from Arkansas to California. To Lady Connie, Sons, Daughters and Grands, you all were and are his World
Hello Uncle it’s me, Barbara Denise McHenry, your favorite niece. As I write this it’s hard for me to believe that I am writing on your obituary page. Though I know that death is the final stage of life your untimely leaving caught me by surprise. You were a uncle, friend, pastor, mentor, and bishop all wrap up in one . I will miss your random phone call just to check on me, your quick wit, handsome smile and always a funny joke. Tell Granda I said hello. Until then, I will see you in glory with our new robe on!
I can’t believe I’m typing this cousin MY BISHOP the comedian of the family. Rest in paradise xoxo Angel this is not goodbye it’s see you later
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I am praying that God will strengthen you day by day. My nephew would always check on his Aunt Arcie Gentle when he came to Arkansas. May God continue to keep you is my prayer.
